As small family farmers ourselves, we know how important quality feed is to the health and well-being of animals. In 2018 we faced a challenge familiar to many farmers: lack of control over commercial feed ingredients. We wanted better feed that was both nutritious and trustworthy, designed specifically for the needs of small pets and livestock on small farms. That’s when we decided to mix our own feed. Our #1 goal is to have a feed that is all grown using regenerative farming practices. to try and stay away from all Chemicals and to stay away from Synthetic as much as possible. Through years of research here at County Line Feed, we have come to realize that much of what we were taught regarding health and nutrition is incomplete. People often view their health through two primary lenses: the medical approach, which frequently acts as a temporary fix, and the natural approach, which relies on man-made herbal supplements. However, there is a third, often forgotten path that we believe is the most vital: the traditional way. The traditional approach focuses on working with nature as it was intended and follows the natural cycle God created, starting with healthy soil that feeds the plant, which in turn nourishes the animal, and then to you, or eventually returns to the soil. We believe that if we work with nature rather than against it, many of our modern health struggles would diminish. While supplements are a wonderful use of herbs, they would not be as necessary if we returned to a traditional diet sourced from animals allowed to roam and eat as nature intended. Our goal at County Line Feed is to prioritize this traditional cycle by ensuring our animals are fed through God’s creation. The modern diet, largely sourced from factory farms and sold at grocery stores is why many feel the need for herbal blends. While traditional path requires many extra steps and is far more difficult than mainstream factory farming, we remain committed to it. Our motto has always been: if it were easy, everyone would be doing it. We look forward to continuing this journey toward better health and traditional farming with you.

County Line Feeds started as a solution to feed our own animals, and it grew into a service to help other farmers who share our values. We’ve focused on creating specific blends for chickens, dairy cows, horses, goats, sheep, pigs and for all Pets. each designed to support optimal health and growth with carefully selected high-quality ingredients. 

We source all Non-GMO or Organic grains to try to get the best nutrients possible. We try to provide feed that’s rich in protein, fiber, and essential minerals without any unnecessary additives.
